Description
Western Wisconsin Health is seeking a full-time Phlebotomist (1.0 FTE) to join the team in our Lab! Responsibilities include obtaining laboratory specimens from patients with minimal trauma. This is done to support the organization's mission while living our values.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Formal instruction in a phlebotomy program
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Phlebotomy certification
  • 3 months related work experience
Other Qualifications:
  • Maintain the integrity of highly confidential business and patient information
  • Display and promote high standards of ethical conduct and behaviors consistent with organizational standards
  • Exhibit excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and electronic medical records
  • Ability to anticipate, understand, and manage patient expectations and provide consistent delivery of services
  • Clearly and effectively convey information to patients
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities and handle multiple tasks/projects concurrently
  • Ability to consistently carry out job responsibilities, able to acknowledge when commitments are not met, and take appropriate steps to fulfill responsibility
Work Schedule:
  • 1.0 FTE - 80 hours per bi-weekly pay period
  • Monday through Friday 8-hour shifts
